About the Courses
PHC Prep courses provide high-level academic instruction that prepares students for success on the AP* exam and in college. Developed and taught by Patrick Henry College professors and other Christian teachers, the courses prepare students for college not only academically, but also spiritually. As part of each course’s integral Christian worldview component, students learn what the Bible has to say about the subject and how to articulate and defend that position. The interactive online classes utilize message boards, chat rooms, and email, and include lectures presented in text, audio, and audiovisual formats.
Each course meets the College Board’s rigorous requirements for an official AP designation, fully preparing students for the related AP exam. Please be aware that PHC Prep does not administer AP exams; the exams are administered at local testing centers. See the College Board’s AP website for exam dates, locations, and registration information.
